Willie's Wishes began inside the doors of the World Famous Shotgun Willies Gentlemen's Club in 2016 by owner, Debbie Dunafon, and her family.

Moved by faith and inspired by what the Dunafon Family has achieved in politics, business, and philanthropy, a new type of scholarship program was born.  The Dunafon Family believes it is the power of the individual that makes society work and they created a truly unique organization, a family, that supports the women who entertain us.. 

No matter what circumstance an entertainer finds herself in, she can take control of her body, mind, and spirit and turn the best years of her life and being an entertainer into a springboard for the rest of the years of her life.. The Dunafons believe that a world where everyone is the captain of their fate and the masters of their soul is a beautiful world. A mentee participating in the Willie's Wishes program will know this: the world will produce for them what they deserve and they deserve their dreams, but no one will give it to them.  

A Wille's Wishes scholarship is not your average scholarship.  By pairing recipients with a mentor who is a former entertainer, we provide women with a safe place to talk about their wins, their struggles and their mistakes with a woman who has been in her heels.  The mentorship aspect of Willie's Wishes is what has produced staggering success for our recipients
